We are looking for the best talent in Immunology.
The Johnson & Johnson Immunology Internship Program offers a full-time, immersive learning experience within Immunology Therapeutic Area Research and Development. Interns contribute to meaningful projects, engage with leaders and colleagues across functions, and build practical skills through structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to the drug development process. The program is designed to foster professional growth while giving interns an opportunity to support innovative immunology research and clinical development.
Designed to cultivate the next generation of talent, the program helps interns develop scientific, technical, and professional capabilities while exploring career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. The internship spans approximately three months, from May 17 through August 6, 2027. The position is located in Spring House, PA.
As an Immunology Cross-Functional Summer Intern, you will join a team dedicated to research and development within the Immunology Therapeutic Area. You will be assigned a mentor and contribute to meaningful team projects while gaining experience in a global, matrixed environment. The role may provide exposure to research and development strategies, the clinical and operational implementation of complex compound programs, and clinical immunology data analysis.
You may participate in cross-functional activities such as developing clinical trial protocols and materials, conducting literature searches and reviews, reviewing clinical trial data, coordinating clinical study reports, performing gap analyses, and supporting the preparation of relevant documents. You may also collaborate with colleagues across functional disciplines to monitor or support aspects of clinical trials. You may contribute to clinical trial recruitment support, site referral and/or community engagement opportunities.
You will complete one primary research project and may receive additional assignments from your mentor and team. You will present your work to the project team and prepare an abstract or poster on your primary project for presentation at the organization-wide research symposium at the end of the internship.
Through this experience, you will gain a foundational understanding of clinical research, immunological diseases, diagnosis and treatment, and the science and processes involved in novel drug development.
