HP Hiring Product Management Intern

The Team

Today, what we build in Personal Systems is across three main pillars:

• Advancing leadership in Computing: We create laptops, desktops, business PCs, Gaming PCs, Chromebooks, Education-specific PCs, Creator-specific PCs, and Workstations.
• Creating leadership in Peripherals: Peripherals are your monitors, docks, webcams, keyboards, and mice. People refresh their peripherals 5x faster and more often than their notebooks. We acquired HyperX, where we develop high quality gaming gear for all types of gamers, and we have also acquired Poly, which allows us to provide razor-sharp 4K video for the ultimate meeting experiences.
• Expanding Digital Services: More hybrid workforce and more time spent on digital platforms gaming, shopping, connecting means more need for services. We are uniquely placed to help IT with combo across HP (PC & Print) and can help them tackle the pain points of a remote workforce: onboarding, productivity, remote computing.

Job Description

Join HP's Personal Systems team and support product management initiatives for personal computing peripheral devices and related software experiences. You will conduct market, competitive, and user research while contributing to product concepts that address customer needs and emerging market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor, and user research.
• Analyze data and translate findings into actionable product insights.
• Support concept planning for computing peripherals and software experiences.
• Help define user needs, product requirements, and use cases.
• Create visual concepts, presentations, and product recommendations.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Use AI and analytics tools to improve research and decision-making.

Education

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in:

• Computer Science
• Business Administration
• Marketing

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in product management and technology products.
• Experience with data analysis and research.
• Understanding of user-centered design and UX/UI principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize work and collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency with standard productivity software.

The pay range for this position is $29 to $33 per hour (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
