ASIC Intern

Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, provides next-generation networking solutions for the mobile enterprise. The team in Roseville, CA is looking for an ASIC Post-Si Verification Engineering Intern.

This role is designed as hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week in an HPE office.

Responsibilities

The intern will work with the HPE Aruba ASIC development team on next generation products. The summer project will support current or future ASIC development activities. The team builds state of the art networking chips for the marketplace and its customers.

Interns will learn from senior members of the ASIC and VLSI team. Possible duties include RTL and physical design, pre-silicon and post-silicon verification, formal verification, script and tool development, schedule breakdowns, and document generation. Assignments vary, so final alignment depends on student skills and business needs.

Impact and Scope

This role is for university students actively enrolled in a technical Bachelor's degree program who typically work during school breaks and then return to their university. Some countries may offer part-time internships during the school year for full-time students.
