Aero New Units Commercial Internship 2027

Job Description Summary

This is a fast-paced, customer-focused internship working with cross-functional teams such as product management, product champions, engineering, and marketing. We are using Lean methodology to streamline how we position aeroderivative gas turbine packages for datacenters, utilities, and municipalities. This effort will support our global sales team and commercial teams.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

• Work with product champions and sales teams to understand what collateral the commercial team needs to better position our Aeroderivative gas turbines products in early customer engagements.
• Understand and learn the technical details of gas turbine performance and how that is used to create value for a power generation product.
• Work with technical and marketing content contributors across the business to collect all applicable content and convert it into a sales-friendly format.
• Learn the sales content management systems and knowledge repository to help the commercial team more effectively access content.
• Learn the full slate of Aeroderivative gas turbine offerings and ensure content is available for all product lines.
• Learn and participate in business commercial processes in solution selling Aeroderivative technology to customers.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications):

• Currently enrolled university or college student pursuing an engineering, science, business, or related degree, with the expectation of returning to school following the internship.
• Previous work experience, regardless of industry (e.g., retail, food service, manufacturing, customer service, campus employment, or other part-time roles), demonstrating work ethic, accountability, and professionalism.
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship, both currently and in the future.

Desired Characteristics:

• Demonstrated academic excellence, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 (without rounding in the U.S.).

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
