Finance Controller Internship

Job Description

This full-time internship is with Robert Bosch Automotive Steering Column LLC in the Controlling department. The purpose of the role is to gain experience and training while assisting with departmental tasks and projects within controlling, including closing processes, account reconciliation, reporting, and forecasting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist plant controlling team in daily responsibilities:
  • Prepare cost center expense reporting packages
  • Forecast cash positions
  • Support month-end closing
• Support monthly business reporting with focus on reporting and analysis
• Monitor and distribute key performance data and other reports as required
• Support business planning and forecasting processes
• Work on ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance/Accounting, or within one year of graduation from such program
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Structured working approach to meeting high-quality standards
• Good attention to detail, decision making, and problem solving skills
• Strong oral communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel for data management and report writing
• Good command of the English language
• MS Power BI/Tableau knowledge preferred
• SAP knowledge is desirable
• Prefer someone who can work for at least 6 months straight, full time Monday-Friday, with opportunities for internship renewal in Summer/Fall 2027
