Engineering Intern - Manufacturing & Product Engineering

John Deere is seeking an Engineering Intern for Manufacturing & Product Engineering for Summer 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, working on real projects that impact our products and processes.

As an intern, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and product engineering initiatives. You will gain exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and product improvements.
• Participate in projects related to production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations to optimize manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Document processes, create reports, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong academic record with coursework relevant to manufacturing or product engineering.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship or co-op experience is a plus.
