DT Services provides support and extended warranty services, and manages deployment, enterprise installation, and configuration services for both Enterprise and Client customers. What you’ll achieve

The business analytics intern will work on a problem that requires detailed analytics to be resolved. The intern will be responsible for carrying out analytics and providing insights on how to resolve the problem. The project may also involve building KPIs and dashboards.

You will:

• Create analysis that uncovers hidden opportunities to improve in areas such as operations, sales growth, and dispatch effectiveness.
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to predict outcomes.
• Effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations with business leaders.
• Partner with both internal and external sources to gather and examine data from disparate sources with the goal of discovering previously hidden insights.
• Independently drive a task to completion, understand the data and end goals, and provide insights beyond the customer’s expectations.

Essential Requirements:

• Currently enrolled UG in an accredited Bachelor’s program in Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
• Proficient data mining skills.
• Experience in Excel, SQL & Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Knowledge or experience using Statistica, SAS, R, SPSS, Hadoop, Teradata, Python, Tableau, Business Objects, C++.

Desirable Requirements:

• Collaborate with peers and work independently.
• Ability to adapt.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is $20.70 hourly – $30.75 hourly depending on location and grad level.
