Systems Engineering Co-op/Intern

The Opportunity

CACI's Rochester team is looking to hire a Systems Engineering Co-Op/Intern in Rochester, NY for Spring or Summer 2027. The organization designs and builds hardware and software to meet customers' next requirements.

The team offers devices that can be fielded immediately to meet upcoming mission needs. Size, weight, power, and packaging are central to everything designed and built. Its expertise covers specialized electronic and mechanical design, embedded and application-level software, reverse engineering and protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures
• Conduct tests and document results
• Provide technical support for application notes
• Conduct vehicle site surveys and associated vehicle integration designs for Mastodon equipment
• Procure and validate 3rd party OEM products
• Develop and write software install procedures for laptops, including Mastodon and 3rd party software
• Create and update laptop clones
• Coordinate document reviews

Pay Range

Final salary depends on factors including geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. CACI offers competitive compensation, benefits, and learning and development opportunities, including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off benefits.

The proposed salary range for this position is $39,900 to $79,900.
