Information Security and Privacy Intern

Bosch's central information security and privacy team in North America works to strengthen information security and privacy governance across the company's regional businesses. The team is building local ISP governance structures in the USA, Canada, and Mexico by adapting the centrally developed Bosch data protection and information security management system to local laws and requirements. This includes defining local ISP procedures, formalizing them in regional regulations, providing ISP awareness and training, and running local governance audits.

This internship is onsite, about 25 hours a week, at Bosch North America headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan, within the Information Security and Data Protection Region North America organization. You will support a dynamic team with data protection compliance tracking, data reporting, and other tasks as needed. Tasks are assigned based on your skills and career focus.

Responsibilities

1. Data Analytics & Reporting

• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and presentations using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Consolidate and visualize regional data from various business sectors into executive-ready management slide decks.

2. Compliance, Privacy & Training Operations

• Manage intake of Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) to support regional privacy policy compliance.
• Coordinate workshops, training sessions, and alignment meetings, and manage related materials.

3. Project Coordination & Tool Support

• Carry out pre-work activities such as information gathering, task clustering, and progress tracking across project workstreams.
• Support the rollout and development of internal collaboration platforms and DPMS and ISMS tools (e.g. Viva Engage).

4. General Administrative Support

• Provide administrative and operational support as needed.
