Product Analyst Intern - AI & Incubation

Your Role

As a Product Analyst Intern, you will support Wind River's Product team in spotting market trends, competitive insights, and new business opportunities across automotive, aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, and telecom industries.

You will get hands-on experience with generative AI, data analysis, and market research tools to turn information into useful insights. Working with Product Managers, Engineers, Sales, and Marketing teams, you will help shape product strategy and see how customer and market insights drive product decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Support market and competitive research using public sources, industry reports, and AI-powered tools.
• Use generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to summarize information, identify trends, and support competitive analysis.
• Analyze and organize market data to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and potential business opportunities.
• Help create dashboards, presentations, and concise reports that communicate key findings to product teams.
• Support the development of product requirements, user stories, feature comparisons, and market positioning analyses.
• Take part in sprint planning, product discussions, customer workshops, and cross-functional meetings to learn the product development lifecycle.
• Work with Product Managers, Engineers, Sales, and other teams on feature analysis and product demonstrations.
• Document learnings and best practices to improve how AI is used in product research and development.
