About the Role

Join the Applied Global Services (AGS) Strategic Operations & Business Analytics team and gain hands-on experience on high-impact initiatives with visibility to AGS leadership. As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will support projects focused on business process improvement, supply chain optimization, operational excellence, cost reduction, and performance analytics.

You will work on real business challenges, partner with cross-functional teams, analyze complex data sets, and help develop recommendations that deliver measurable business value. The role gives exposure to a global service organization supporting a multi-billion-dollar business with thousands of field engineers, a complex logistics network, and a broad portfolio of products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support analysis of business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance performance.
• Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Assist in developing dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive-ready deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across operations, supply chain, finance, engineering, and service organizations.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, and data-driven analyses to support strategic business initiatives.
• Take part in project meetings and help develop and implement process improvement solutions.
• Help document business processes, requirements, and project outcomes.

Key Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or other analytics tools is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Interest in operations, supply chain, data analytics, process improvement, or business strategy.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related disciplines is preferred.
