APCO Worldwide is seeking talented and driven students or recent graduates to join our 6-month paid internship program as part of the Geo-Commerce Solutions practice. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about international relations, trade policy, and global business strategy. Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside a team of experts, contributing to high-impact projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

As a Geo-Commerce Intern, you will:

Monitor global policies and news related to trade, supply chain, economic sanctions, cybersecurity, and national security.
Conduct research on industries such as telecommunications, healthcare, agriculture, technology, and apparel.
Draft analytical reports on international business trends, economic policies, and diplomatic developments.
Identify key stakeholders and media influencers in global trade and commerce.
Support stakeholder engagement, including media outreach and policy discussions.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as data collection, translation, and note-taking for client projects.
Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and strategic insights.

Who We Are Looking For

Ideal candidates should have:

A strong interest in international relations, communications, or political science.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong research and analytical abilities.
A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
US Work Authorization (OPT/Post-OPT candidates are not eligible).

Internship Details

Duration: 6 months (June 9, 2025 – December 12, 2025)
Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $17.50 per hour
