APCO Worldwide is seeking talented and driven students or recent graduates to join our 6-month paid internship program as part of the Geo-Commerce Solutions practice. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about international relations, trade policy, and global business strategy. Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside a team of experts, contributing to high-impact projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
As a Geo-Commerce Intern, you will:
- Monitor global policies and news related to trade, supply chain, economic sanctions, cybersecurity, and national security.
- Conduct research on industries such as telecommunications, healthcare, agriculture, technology, and apparel.
- Draft analytical reports on international business trends, economic policies, and diplomatic developments.
- Identify key stakeholders and media influencers in global trade and commerce.
- Support stakeholder engagement, including media outreach and policy discussions.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data collection, translation, and note-taking for client projects.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and strategic insights.
Who We Are Looking For
Ideal candidates should have:
- A strong interest in international relations, communications, or political science.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- US Work Authorization (OPT/Post-OPT candidates are not eligible).
Internship Details
- Duration: 6 months (June 9, 2025 – December 12, 2025)
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Compensation: $17.50 per hour
