About the Role

As a Front-End Web Developer at S&P Global, you will join the Development and UX team within the Digital Experience organization. This team is passionate about improving digital interactions, providing seamless access to remote tools, collaboration platforms, and service support, ensuring employees remain connected and productive wherever they work.


Responsibilities

  • Build responsive and accessible web applications using modern frameworks like React, Vue, or similar.
  • Translate UX/UI designs into clean, reusable, and scalable code.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to implement thoughtful usability and interaction patterns.
  • Contribute to internal component libraries and design systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and iterate on solutions.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain performance across different browsers and devices.
  • Stay updated with the latest front-end trends and suggest improvements to tools and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and corporate design guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
  • Experience working with front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Understanding of usability, accessibility, and performance best practices.
  • Self-driven, curious, and passionate about the intersection of design and development.
  • Comfortable collaborating with designers, developers, and business teams.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
  • Experience with REST APIs and front-end/backend integration.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Passion for improving digital workplace experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Pay: $25–$30 per hour (dependent on location, experience, and skill set).
