About the Role

Hone is seeking a Web Developer – Growth to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Software Development and work closely with product, design, and data teams to enhance key customer touchpoints such as landing pages and checkout experiences. Your work will directly impact business growth by delivering high-performance, scalable, and user-centric web solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on software solutions to optimize user experience and drive business growth.
  • Develop high-quality, scalable web applications focused on speed, experimentation, and data-driven learning.
  • Design and implement modular, reusable front-end components for flexible testing and iteration.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to launch A/B tests, feature experiments, and optimizations.
  • Continuously improve website speed, performance, and usability based on analytics and user feedback.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of professional web development experience, translating Figma designs into functional websites/applications.
  • Expertise in core web technologies: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, responsive design, RESTful services/APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of edge caching, CDNs, and page speed optimization.
  • Experience integrating AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI-based analyzers into workflows.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks (e.g., Optimizely, LaunchDarkly).
  • Mastery of development tools like VS Code and Git.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of software lifecycle best practices (testing, security, maintainability).
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technology systems and tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with C# / .NET
  • Experience with Azure cloud services
