About the Role

POWDER RIVER is seeking a talented UI Engineer to join our team remotely, supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) project focused on modernizing customer service operations across various branches of the U.S. military.

Our client currently uses an on-premise contact center solution that is approaching end-of-life status. As part of our modernization initiative, we will be migrating their contact center operations to Amazon Connect in GovCloud — a secure and scalable Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) certified at DISA Impact Level 4.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a critical project that enhances customer support capabilities within the federal sector.

  • Design and implement conversational AI features for customer interactions.
  • Leverage AWS AI/ML services like Polly, Comprehend, and Transcribe to enhance functionality.
  • Create and maintain voice and chat self-service workflows, integrating with third-party systems for data exchange.
  • Build cloud-native chatbot solutions aligned with enterprise-level security and compliance standards.
