What You’ll Be Doing

As a Salesforce Developer Intern, you’ll play a key role in improving the performance, structure, and quality of our Salesforce environment. You’ll collaborate with our engineering, QA, and business teams while gaining hands-on experience in:

  • Apex programming, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
  • Code analysis, refactoring, and legacy optimization
  • Performance monitoring and debugging
  • Automation and process improvements using Salesforce Flow
  • Version control & deployment tools like Git, Gearset, and Copado
  • Security standards, CRUD/FLS enforcement, and sharing rules
  • Real-world DevOps & Agile team collaboration

Duration: 12 Weeks | 30 hours/week

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document existing Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning code
  • Refactor and modernize outdated or redundant logic
  • Replace legacy Process Builders with Salesforce Flows
  • Create and run unit tests for code quality assurance
  • Monitor system performance and optimize SOQL queries
  • Collaborate with experienced Salesforce developers, BAs, and QA engineers
  • Assist with secure, scalable deployments using Git-based workflows

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program (CS, IT, SE, or related)
  • Basic experience with Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, or similar OOP languages
  • Familiarity with Salesforce’s security model, Flows, and automation tools is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Comfortable working with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Passionate about coding, learning, and improving enterprise systems
