As a Data Entry Typist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update data into the company’s electronic records system.
  • Ensure all data is formatted correctly and adheres to company guidelines.
  • Verify data accuracy before entering it into the system.
  • Retrieve and organize necessary data for medical professionals and administrative staff.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure all records are up to date.
  • Maintain and manage confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct routine audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Process forms, documents, and reports related to patient records, billing, and administration.
  • Perform general office tasks such as scanning, filing, and organizing paperwork.
  • Complete all data entry assignments efficiently and within set deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred).
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but previous data entry or typing experience is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Typing Skills: High typing speed with strong accuracy.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and correct errors in data entry.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
