Role Overview

Reporting to the VP of Research & Development, Matt Bates, the software engineer intern will own how to structure integrating OneStop, Macro Helix implementation team's spreadsheet-based approval process into Macro Helix's signature SaaS platform, 340B Architect.

Today, implementation teams and customers rely on spreadsheets, email, and manual follow-up to validate configuration before go-live. This creates delays, uncertainty, and administrative burden at one of the most critical stages of implementation. The proposal is a structured approval experience inside 340B Architect, where customers review, validate, and formally approve configurations before activation. The result: greater transparency, less administrative effort, faster timelines, and Architect established as the system of record for the full implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Exposure to AI-assisted development, cloud technologies, APIs, and product-focused problem solving
• Exposure to one or more programming languages: C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on assigned projects

Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience, skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Base Pay Range: $16.50 - $27.50 per hour
