Sales Engineer Intern

Job Description

• Support Distribution customers as assigned.
• Coordinate, measure, report, and manage sales processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted liaison between customers and HydraForce for key commercial functions, including production support, product development, availability, performance, and data analysis.
• Generate and maintain regular reports on key sales metrics, providing actionable insights to the sales team and leadership.
• Proactively collaborate with customers and internal teams to achieve customer excellence goals.
• Assist Application Engineering on complex projects, preparing proposals and developing sales advantages with good, better, and best offers.
• Document customer activity and leverage CRM to enhance relationships and customer experience.
• Collect, clean, and analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes through data analysis and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Be open to intermittent US travel as required.

Qualifications

• Must be entering Junior or Senior year in quality, mechanical, mechatronic, engineering technology, agriculture, electrical/electronic, or industrial engineering degree programs.
• Undergraduate students with fluid power or hydraulics coursework are especially encouraged to apply.
• Previous internship experience in a manufacturing environment is useful but not necessary.
• Preference for students interested in a sales engineering career.

The US base hourly range for this position is between $18 and $27, depending on credits accumulated for undergraduate students. Your recruiter can share more details about the specific hourly range during the interview process.
