About the Role

Join us for Ratings Forward, a virtual event on 21 October 2026 at 4pm EDT / 2pm MDT. This session is aimed at current Americas College/University students who graduate in 2027 or 2028, with opportunities available in New York City, Toronto, and Englewood. The event covers S&P Global Ratings' approach to credit analysis and what early-career success looks like at one of the largest providers of credit ratings in the world.

If you are selected to attend this virtual event, you will then be invited to apply for our 2027 intern and graduate opportunities.

Attendance Requirements

We are looking for second and third year students studying a BSc, BA or MA course with strong financial and numerical ability, innovative and critical thinking, and storytelling skills, along with a genuine interest in credit analysis.

We seek collaborative, dependable teammates with strong problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills who can communicate clearly, multi-task, and learn quickly in fast-paced environments. Candidates should demonstrate the initiative to conduct independent research, possess strong spreadsheet and Microsoft Office skills, and show a willingness to learn data/automation and AI technologies (such as Machine Learning, NLP, or RPA). You must be an effective communicator capable of presenting structured research with a solutions-oriented mindset.

This event is open to students who are interested in working at our S&P Global New York, Colorado, or Toronto office. Please note you must have the indefinite right to work in the New York, Colorado, or Toronto location to be considered for this event or an open role and be residing in that location for the duration of the program.
