This position is for an Electrical Engineering Internship on the Engine Control Systems Electrical Design Team. This summer internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry. You will work alongside early career, mid career, and senior engineers on the design, analysis, and testing of Electronic Engine Controls. Our Electronic Engine Controls can be found on commercial and military aircraft engines around the world!

What You Will Do:

• Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of electronic engine controls for aircraft engines.
• Conduct analysis and simulations of electrical circuits within electronic engine controls.
• Perform hands on design verification testing and qualification testing of electronic engine controls.
• Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production and field issues.
• Collaborate with other technical disciplines to solve challenging multi-disciplinary problems.

What You Will Learn:

• Electronic Hardware Development process of electronic engine controls, from initial conceptual design through verification and integration testing.
• Develop skills in identifying and resolving issues in fielded electronic engine controls.
• Understand how electronic engine controls integrate with other hardware and software on aircraft engines and airframes.
• Gain insights into project planning, team collaboration, and effective communication within an engineering team.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with analog and/or digital circuit design.
• Experience using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, and Power Apps.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
