Power Electronics Internship

What you will do

Summer 2027 internship in the Power Electronics Group of Engineering & Product Development, bringing solid knowledge and experience in modern power electronics.

How you will do it

• Take technical responsibility for all power electronics aspects, including components, circuits, and modules.
• Select and evaluate components.
• Design, analyze, and debug circuits.
• Test and evaluate performance.
• Verify and validate functions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.
• Understand and comply with quality policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, business goals, and environmental well-being.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

What we look for

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with experience in power electronics.
• Language Skills: Fluently read, speak, and write in English. Ability to respond effectively to technical staff inquiries. Ability to write technical documentation including design reports, work instructions, and test reports. Ability to prepare program summaries for peer and executive review.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply mathematical and engineering principles to computations using various tools, including mathematical models in engineering metrics.

Hiring Hourly Range: $21.00-$24.00 (Hourly rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, location, and market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package. For details, visit the About Us tab on the Johnson Controls Careers site.
