Internship Program Overview

Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work, feedback, coaching, and engaging events to spark excitement about a full-time career at Key.

Interns work on line of business specific projects that directly impact Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates at all levels, Learning Labs with internal and external speakers on Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development, plus an assigned mentor.

About Corporate Procurement

Key's Corporate Procurement organization partners with business units to reduce total cost of ownership, enable new capabilities through third-party relationships, and optimize cost-quality and risk-reward of engagements.

Interns gain hands-on experience with various projects, networking with Senior Leadership and Procurement Leadership, and opportunities for training and skill development in sourcing strategy, portfolio management, and communications.

Successful interns may be considered for full-time placement in the Finance Analyst Rotational Program after graduation.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in Procurement projects and initiatives that advance departmental goals.
• Collect, review, analyze, and summarize third-party data; build PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders and Procurement Leadership.
• Support sourcing activities with market research, supplier comparisons, RFP documentation, and bid analysis.
• Research industry trends, procurement best practices, and emerging supplier capabilities to inform strategies.
• Contribute to process improvement by documenting current-state workflows.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, or trackers for procurement initiatives.
• Collaborate with risk, legal, finance, and other stakeholders to understand procurement's role in enterprise decision-making.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, or data science, with graduation expected by May 2028.
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA).
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from work or extracurricular activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation and Benefits
