What does our Internship Program offer?

Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work, feedback, coaching, and engaging events. It is designed to spark excitement about building a full-time career at Key.

Interns work on line-of-business specific projects that directly impact Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with teammates across all levels, Learning Labs with internal and external speakers, and a dedicated mentor.

KeyBank Real Estate Capital (KBREC) is a leading provider of commercial, healthcare, and multifamily real estate finance. KBREC focuses on long-term client relationships through creative financing solutions and deep industry experience.

About the Real Estate Capital Internship Program

At this location, interns work in the Income Property Group (IPG), a national platform providing project finance for new development, acquisition/repositioning, and long-term hold of stable assets.

This Summer internship is a direct pipeline for full-time Analyst positions, offering exceptional potential for interns to return upon graduation.

Work assignments may include:

• Researching economic conditions and market trends
• Developing strategic contact databases
• Neighborhood, industry, and prospective tenant research
• Field research and preparation of marketing materials
• Completing a Capstone Project leveraging learnings from the internship
• Performing other duties to support the Real Estate Capital team

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree with coursework in finance, real estate, or a related field, with anticipated graduation in or before May 2028
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.3 GPA)
• Relevant experience preferred
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities

Compensation and Benefits

This position earns an hourly rate of $27 per hour, plus a $2,000 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
