Intern - Logistics

Internship Overview

We are looking for a candidate local to the Lincolnton, NC area who can work onsite for 25-40 hours per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the logistics planning team within a specific value stream.
• Plan an area independently, under the guidance of an experienced logistics planner.
• Create modern logistics reports.
• Track inbound shipments.

Your Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or be a recent graduate.
• Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Only individuals with indefinite U.S. work authorization are eligible; future sponsorship is not available.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Major in logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience with LEAN logistics concepts.
• General understanding of process visualization and improvement.
• Team player mindset.

The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing, and Packaging Center is located about 30 miles from Charlotte. The facility employs nearly 500 full-time associates in a 5-shift operation, covering 235,000 sq ft and 12,000 SKUs.
