FX Publicity Intern

About the Role & Program

The FX Publicity and Communications department is seeking an intern to support the Publicity team. Our intern will report to the Senior Manager, Publicity and gain exposure to various departments across the Company.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, California area from January 2027 to June 2027.

What You Will Do

• Organize and distribute media clips, coverage reports, and show clips.
• Conduct research for ongoing and special projects and manage press lists.
• Assist with FX premiere events, festivals, FYC events, panels, and press tours.
• Identify and compile quotes from reviews and feature stories for internal use.
• Copyedit press materials and maintain internal and status reports.
• Provide general support to the department, including coordinating meetings, taking notes, maintaining schedules and records, shipping packages, and organizing archives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of FX programming and entertainment content.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Previous internship, coursework, or related experience in public relations, communications, media, or the entertainment industry.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Education

• Senior year preferred.
• Majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Film and Media or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
• Fully available from January 2027 through June 2027.
• Fully available from Monday through Friday, primarily, and occasionally nights and weekends for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
• Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area.
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work in the Burbank, CA area.
