The Digital Experience & Marketing team creates innovative digital products and experiences that strengthen the client-advisor relationship and help clients achieve their financial goals. As a Digital Product Owner Intern, you will work with product, design, analytics and technology teams to help shape digital experiences that deliver value for clients and advisors. Throughout the summer, you will develop foundational skills in product strategy, customer experience, analytics, Agile delivery, and stakeholder collaboration while contributing to real business outcomes.

About the Role

As a Digital Product Owner Intern, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of digital experiences that support clients and advisors. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will gain practical experience in key areas of digital product management, including:

  • Digital Product Strategy and Execution
  • Consumer-Facing Web and Mobile Experiences
  • Digital Analytics and Performance Measurement
  • User Experience (UX) Research and Design
  • Agile Product Development and Delivery

Examples of Past Intern Projects

  • Conducted user testing and analyzed feedback to inform product enhancements for a new digital trading platform
  • Evaluated portfolio experience concepts for the Secure Client Site to improve usability and client engagement
  • Researched virtual meeting experiences across competitors to identify industry trends, best practices, and opportunities for innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Project Management, Entrepreneurial Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028

Preferred Qualifications

  • High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
  • Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A passion for and strong interest in engaging digital experiences, including consumer-facing websites and mobile apps

In-Office Collaboration: We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together in-person is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders. Employees work in the office at least four days per week, with flexibility to work from home one day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary: The estimated base salary for this role is $29 per hour. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
