Northrop Grumman is seeking a Pricing & Cost Estimating intern for an Internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Space sector in Chandler, AZ.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space Launch Systems Business Unit.

What you will get to learn:

• Support a variety of proposal activities (e.g., firm proposals, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs), and pricing exercises) to help meet program and business objectives. Assist in compiling cost, schedule, and technical inputs in alignment with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.
• Assist in gathering and organizing cost, schedule, and technical elements for proposal development in accordance with RFP specifications.
• Help collect and consolidate cost data from functional representatives and subcontractors under the guidance of the Pricing and Estimating team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Business Management, Contracts, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Logistics) to support strategies that meet proposal requirements and deadlines.
• Support preparation of cost reports and assist in summarizing and presenting results to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, and customer representatives.
• Contribute to Pricing and Estimating team initiatives, process improvements, and documentation updates as assigned.
• Demonstrate a high level of commitment to quality, compliance, and internal controls, consistently modeling company values and ethics.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027.
• Be majoring in Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, Business Administration, or similar fields.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• Beginner Level Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
• Keen interest in the Business Management functional group.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills.
• Experience in Data Analytics.

Intern Pay Range:

Bachelor's: $16.50 to $30.00 per hour

Master's: $23.75 to $37.25 per hour

At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
