The International Client Services Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting Schwab clients who prefer to engage in Chinese or Spanish while building foundational skills in client service, operational execution, and financial services. Based in Orlando, FL, this 9-week paid internship provides exposure to how Schwab delivers accurate, professional, and compliant service within a highly regulated environment.

As an International Client Services Intern, you will contribute to meaningful work that supports client service teams through a variety of service and operational activities. You will develop experience documenting information accurately, coordinating with teammates, and delivering clear, professional communication while supporting processes that help create a positive client experience. Through real-world assignments and collaborative project work, you will strengthen your ability to analyze information, navigate established workflows, solve problems using a structured approach, and follow through on commitments with accuracy and accountability. The internship also provides opportunities to expand your knowledge of financial services, gain exposure to supporting international clients across multiple service channels, and practice creating high-quality documentation and summaries that support operational excellence.

Throughout the program, you will receive coaching, feedback, networking opportunities, and professional development experiences designed to help you build confidence, strengthen business acumen, and prepare for future career opportunities within Schwab.

What you have

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree and expected to graduate after August 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally through coursework, work experience, leadership activities, projects, or extracurricular involvement.
• Ability to apply careful review and sound judgment to ensure accuracy and quality in completed work.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established processes, manage responsibilities through completion, and deliver reliable results.
• Ability to gather information, evaluate options, and determine appropriate next steps when addressing questions or challenges.
• Ability to learn new systems, terminology, policies, and business processes quickly.
• Demonstrated success working collaboratively with teammates and partner groups.
• Fluency in Chinese or Spanish aligned to business and role needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior customer service, client-facing, internship, volunteer, or leadership experience.
• Interest in financial services, client service, operations, or international business.
• Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong academic performance and involvement in campus, community, or professional organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to create organized documentation, summaries, or written communications.
