About the Role

Horizontal is building a cybersecurity tool that enhances email and file sharing security. As a frontend developer, you’ll play a key role in developing Microsoft Office add-ins that integrate with tools like Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy Microsoft Office add-ins using JavaScript and Office APIs
Ensure the add-ins are high-performing, secure, and user-friendly
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to ensure a seamless user experience
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Office add-ins
Stay current with Microsoft development frameworks and security updates
Write and maintain technical documentation for the tools developed

What We’re Looking For

Strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript development
Experience integrating frontend with RESTful APIs
Eagerness to learn cryptographic principles (prior experience is a plus)
Clean, efficient, and well-documented coding practices
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Microsoft Office API
Hands-on knowledge of secure development workflows and add-in architecture
