About the Role

Thaloz is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer with a strong background in React, modern JavaScript, and cloud environments like AWS. You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative engineering team focused on delivering scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to impactful, real-world projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end web applications using React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
Translate design mockups into responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
Integrate applications with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, ECS, and Route53.
Optimize performance using CDN strategies and front-end best practices.
Implement unit testing and automated testing to ensure code quality.
Participate in Agile processes including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Review code, provide feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
Debug and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently.
Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration.
Contribute to the architectural decisions and technical discussions of the product.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience building scalable web applications and APIs.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript with expertise in Node.js and React.
Hands-on experience with TypeScript in large-scale applications.
Experience with Agile methodologies and modern development workflows.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services including API Gateway, S3, Lambda, and EC2.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
Experience using testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
