Role and Responsibilities
As an AI/ML Engineer Intern, you will:
- Research & Development
Collaborate with senior engineers on research related to natural language processing (NLP), especially in areas such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompting strategies, and autonomous agent development.
- Model Design and Development
Build and optimize ML models for a range of NLP tasks, including but not limited to:
- Text classification
- Entity recognition
- Sentiment analysis
- Text generation
- Data Processing & Feature Engineering
Preprocess and clean large-scale text datasets to extract features that support high-performing model training.
- Model Evaluation
Rigorously test and validate NLP models using relevant performance metrics to ensure scalability and robustness.
- Documentation
Maintain detailed documentation of experiments, techniques, and outcomes for internal reference and external publications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deploy ML models in real-world applications.
- Continuous Learning
Stay current with the latest developments in AI, LLMOps, and NLP through academic research, conferences, and online courses.
Education Requirement
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
