Role Overview
As a Platform Engineering Intern, you’ll work closely with the engineering team to develop and improve scalable infrastructure solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud technologies and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Assist in automating workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring
- Analyze system performance and suggest optimizations
- Work with cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations) to ensure seamless platform integration
- Contribute to documentation and best practices for knowledge sharing
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Exposure to programming languages like Python, Go, or JavaScript
- Knowledge of Linux systems and networking concepts
- Awareness of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (bonus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Management Information Systems
- Computer Information Systems
- Or a related field
