Role Description
As a Software Engineering Intern specializing in AI and automation, you will work on cutting-edge tools that leverage Python and AI models to automate the generation of high-quality product visuals. You’ll help build, maintain, and optimize scripts and pipelines that integrate with real-time data from major eCommerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Python-based tools to generate product visuals using AI and automation workflows
- Create scripts to pull live product and pricing data from eCommerce sites such as Costco, Best Buy, Amazon, and Canadian Tire
- Convert raw scraped data into structured formats like JSON for integration with image generation systems
- Use advanced image generation models (e.g., Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, ControlNet) to create branded, scalable visuals
- Optimize workflows to produce thousands of images automatically with minimal manual intervention
- Overcome challenges like CAPTCHAs, rate limits, and proxy management in web scraping
- Integrate output into RESTful APIs or file-based pipelines for marketing and merchandising teams

Technical Skills Required (Comma Separated)
Python, Javascript, SQL, MongoDB, Flask, Express.js, React.js, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, Docker (nice to have), Node.js (nice to have)
Core Requirements
- Strong command of Python programming and automation techniques
- Experience with AI-based image generation models like DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, or similar
- Ability to structure and clean input data for visual output (prompt engineering, template formatting)
- Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS for data extraction from dynamic sources
- Familiarity with automation tools, handling proxies, rate limits, and scalable pipelines
Bonus Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Hands-on experience with Node.js or other JavaScript-based automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Docker for containerizing workflows
- Background or strong interest in eCommerce or creative technology industries
