About the Role
We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our team and work on a cooperative shooter game based on a well-known IP. If you have expertise in Unreal Engine (C++) and TypeScript, this is your opportunity to contribute to an ambitious project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize client-server interactions in Unreal Engine (C++).
- Integrate the game with web services and external APIs.
- Implement meta-gameplay services using TypeScript and serverless architecture.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and backend engineers to create seamless gameplay experiences.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of online services.
Salary: $92K – $125K per year
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine development.
- Experience with client-server communication and web service integration.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and serverless application development.
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Firebase, or similar serverless platforms.
- Understanding of game networking principles and online service architectures.
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, or GraphQL.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in multiplayer game development.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine’s Gameplay Ability System (GAS).
- Familiarity with cloud gaming infrastructures.
- Passion for shooter games and an understanding of the genre.
