About the Role
Headspace is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its B2B engineering team. This team manages eligibility and enrollment systems for enterprise and small-to-medium business (SMB) clients, and develops integrations with key partners. The position is part of the Employer Platform team, where you will work on scalable systems that drive the company’s enterprise offerings.
As a Full Stack Engineer at Headspace, your work will impact over 65 million users. You’ll contribute to new features that help deliver mental wellness solutions and also be involved in upgrading the platform with the latest technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, high-performance web applications and backend services
- Write efficient, testable, and well-documented code
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment
- Build web apps and APIs using TypeScript/Node.js and Python/Django
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features
- Evaluate system designs for operational readiness and long-term scalability
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in full stack software development
- Strong backend development experience using Python/Django and/or TypeScript/Node.js
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js, and familiarity with Redux or other state management libraries
- Hands-on experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment systems
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or B2B enterprise platforms
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, and scalable software architecture
- A background in working on cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $100,800 – $161,000 (varies by location and experience)
