As a Software Engineer I, you’ll be joining a cutting-edge tech team where innovation meets passion for sports. You’ll be part of the Promotions Platform team – the heart of Fanatics’ rewards and engagement technology. This platform connects fans to the Fanatics ecosystem and makes every game more meaningful. What You’ll Do

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to deliver impactful features.
Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues as part of the on-call rotation.
Take part in sprint planning, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement processes.
Stay up-to-date with backend development trends and best practices.
Occasionally travel to FBG offices or industry events for team collaboration.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
Proficiency in Java (especially with Spring Framework or similar).
Understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend fundamentals.
Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling.
Familiarity with production environments, debugging, and Agile development.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Nice-to-Have:

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
Interest in scaling large systems and optimizing performance.
Prior experience in high-growth or startup environments.
A desire to learn through mentorship and peer collaboration.
