About the Role
Clipboard Health is hiring a Software Engineer – Frontend to join its globally distributed, high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are passionate about building scalable, impactful technology within the healthcare industry. You will work on critical product features and enhancements that connect healthcare professionals to facilities in need, enabling career growth and economic opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable frontend features using TypeScript and React
- Contribute to backend logic where needed using Node.js and NestJS
- Own the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
- Participate in trunk-based development with short-lived feature branches
- Write high-quality, well-tested, and performant code
- Collaborate with product managers to understand real-world healthcare challenges and build solutions
- Take part in occasional on-call rotations (typically one week per month) to ensure production reliability
- Communicate and collaborate in a remote-first, asynchronous work environment
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Experience or willingness to work with Node.js and NestJS
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS (ECS, Terraform), is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Passion for solving real-world problems in healthcare through technology
