What You’ll Do
As a Frontend Software Engineer at Bitwise, you will:
- Build Production-Ready Interfaces: Work with marketing and engineering teams to craft elegant user experiences using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Enhance Frontend Architecture: Take ownership of the frontend stack and ensure the application is scalable, maintainable, and performant.
- Lead Key Migrations: Drive critical migrations, including moving from Next.js Pages Router to App Router with minimal disruption.
- Implement Internationalization: Enable localization and country-specific support for global expansion, especially the European market.
- Develop New Products: Help build a new staking application frontend, applying your knowledge to financial interfaces.
- Maintain Engineering Excellence: Participate in code reviews, implement best practices, and help improve team-wide engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Translate business requirements into scalable frontend features and own full project lifecycles.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI and frontend engineering work
- Familiarity with CSS styling frameworks including CSS-in-JS and Tailwind
- Understanding of UX flows, design patterns, and user-centric development
- Experience with REST APIs and headless CMS systems
- Strong sense of ownership, ability to lead and deliver independently
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Interest in crypto and investment platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of design principles and experience using Figma
- Familiarity with Turborepo and monorepo architectures
- Experience with analytics tools like GA4 and Mixpanel
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits
