Job Description

As an Associate Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring a world-class customer experience by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing expert guidance to online merchants using our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time support to customers via live chat, email, and occasional phone interactions
- Troubleshoot technical issues using your knowledge of web technologies
- Clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical users
- Escalate software bugs and collaborate with engineering teams as needed
- Identify recurring issues, document findings, and recommend product or process improvements
- Maintain and contribute to internal and customer-facing documentation
- Stay current with Recharge platform features and updates to guide merchants effectively
- Engage in a swarm support model to resolve customer issues quickly
- Uphold Recharge values: Accountability, Collaboration, Iteration, and Attention to Detail
- Participate in shift-based work to support our 24/7 support model
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of technical customer support experience in a SaaS environment
- Proficiency in support platforms like Zendesk or HelpScout
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Strong customer-first mindset with patience and professionalism
- Ability to identify patterns and proactively address potential issues
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong team player with a collaborative attitude
- Flexible with work hours to support global customer needs
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience will also be considered
